Tell me now that you will open your eyes
Because I need you to look through mine
To see a dream of love that no longer exists
I need you to feel it, breathe it, to find a way to learn to need it
As it is all that is left behind, .... in the loss of you
When you can see this you will know what is in my heart
That has lived there every day since we have been apart
Then just let it go and feel what is left behind
There, you will find the pieces left of me,
A faded memory of destroyed debris
It is only the ashes forever left within me
