THE DETECTIVE:
BIO
(in the manner of Wei-Ling-Wu)

For years, I worked as a night detective,
a Special Policeman licensed in the District-- ending my first worklife that way.
Myself, when young, pretty much a "straight-arrow!
I never stole a thing nor went against my word
- there is a proper code of conduct--
and sometimes you have to go-by-the-book!
The other cops didn't much like me--
But sometimes I caught them listening when I spoke.
