The Dot Poem by yellowbell alamanda

The Dot

Rating: 5.0

I'm just a dot, oh lord
nothing to show with proud.
Afraid to step, afraid tho cheer,
am I that small enough to fear?

I am weak, I am alone,
needing arm to hang me on
in this darkness where I belong
could be someone out there, hear my call?

I'm sittin' here alone again,
this cold, dark night under the rain,
in your shelter, can I come in
I am begging, please let me in!

If I'm with you, count me in,
never throw me out again
because with you, i feel that one,
the dot you hang, that no one can.

(just talk to God when you're feeling down)
