The earth shook with anticipation
as the end of time was near
And life upon this desolate land
would never re-appear

We took the earth in the human hand
and scattered it far and wide
Leaving no place on this land
for the animals to hide.

The Sun no longer hung in the sky
and the Moon was even gone
With darkness all around us
and nothing to live on.

So please sing as poets do
to end this future trait
And send your words throughout the world
before it is to late,

As man is responsible
and he really needs to change
So let your words astound me
and make your poems as hot as flames.

Then sing with me a happy tune
to make my life complete
And change the way we treat this land
and we dance with happy feet
