The Echo Of Your Voice
I don not know why I love you, only that I do,
And that my whole being longs to unite with yours,
As the hollow conch longs for the distant shores,
Forever echoing its wish,
Even when the memory of the sea is more distant in time than in miles.
I sit between sad-eyed smiles,
And incline my ear,
hoping that in thinking I may hear
The echo of your voice once more.
We hear the beautiful echo of your voice. This echo reflects love and smile.10
