The Epicurean Mind Poem by James Callos Jordan

The Epicurean Mind

Starting up the fire
And setting on the pot.

Pouring some water
And boil it till its right.

Preparing the meat,
With all the bones and stuff.

Chopping all the veggies,
Green, red and white.

Collecting every spices,
And herbs of all kind.

Combine them all together
Blend, stir and mix.

Just taste it once
And you’ll know its right

Now this is how you make
My simple stock of life.
