The Fairground Of The Mad Poem by Jan Oskar Hansen

The Fairground Of The Mad

Fairground of the mad

Around and around it goes
Lies are better than truths
Honesty is for fools
No one believes the politicians
Or anyone else
Opinionated bastards' rules ok
In a world that lost its
Moral compass its humanity
If you are not greedy for power
You are a loser.
And since everyone is lying
You have to take a side
Pretend you believe one
Side - best lies- over the other
And the carousel goes faster
Till we all fall off
And ask nature for mercy
