The First Time We Made Love Poem by jason mcgookin

The First Time We Made Love

Rating: 3.5

Ripples in the water
Lapping at the waters edge
Caressing the pebbles
as they sweep up past
Ripples turn to waves
One after the other
Crashing down upon the shores
Wetting the stones and sands
soon the water calms
Waves turn to ripples
Lapping the waters edge
until the stilness takes its place
