The Flower Poem by SUSHANA VITTALDEV

The Flower

Once so vibrant and so full of life,
She survived storms all along!
And now, here she is,
Dying and dropping in her vase!
Her wilted petals,
Withering and falling - a delicate lace!
Her sources of life – now cut away!
She slowly faded felling no pain!
Washing away in water,
She is just her Remain!
The sun tries to revive her,
But she continued to pass away!
If she could she would cry!
Her velvet petals are trashed away,
Her broken stem thrown away!
There is no use of her anymore!
A bright new flower takes her place now!
