The Flowers Gleam And Glow Poem by Georgia Leana Benedictos

The Flowers Gleam And Glow

The flowers gleam and glow

But it was soon covered with snow.

It died and yet it'll grow

In the next season, you'll know.

My love, your beauty shines

You deserve a glass of wine.

I salute your patience

With me, dear, full of impatience.

My heart, your kindness kindles

You deserve a lighted candle.

I salute your tolerance

With me, dear, full of intolerance.

My love, my heart.

The flowers will soon bloom.

Your beauty and kindness

Will not meet it's doom.

My love, my heart.

Your tolerance in pain

Will soon fade away

So take a flower in your hand.

The flowers gleam and glow

Again, it will be covered with snow.

Changing seasons, you'll know.

I'll give you a flower and don't say no.
