The Game's You Play Aren'T A Sport Poem by Beth Ann

The Game's You Play Aren'T A Sport

You gave a glance
From across the bar
And right then and there

I knew that you wanted to play
I could feel your desire
When you got up from your bar stool
And I felt your pull
On my hand

But I choose to stay there
I know you're infratuated
with the thrill of the chase

I know you want to play the game
Just for the game's sake
I can see you're missing the point
If you think this can be
Turned into a sport
