The Gift Of Frisbee Poem by Richard Wlodarski

The Gift Of Frisbee

Rating: 5.0

If I were to offer you a gift
No matter how insignificant
And you accepted my token of appreciation
And then gave it away to another good friend
What would you think of me as your friend and mentor?

If I were to offer you a golden Frisbee
That flies free into the teeth of your Retriever
And you embrace my Frisbee with spontaneity
And share that spontaneity with humanity
What would you think of the kinship in our friendship?

If I were to offer you the gift of love and hate
No matter the significance of your precious freedom
And you refused the significance of my appreciation
And I affirmed the insignificance of your appreciation
What would you think of my adversarial friendship?
