The Good One Poem by Phil McDonnell

The Good One

I see him and his girlfriend in the hall.
He sees me and his begins to twitch.
I take off my clothes and lean by the wall.
This joke always goes off without a hitch.
He shouts towards me, 'Why do you do this? '
How could I resist some fun with my friend.
His girlfriend glares and you can see her wish.
But I will not falter and I won't bend.
I won't be stopping as long as you're there.
No one thouht he'd actually court someone.
I'm sure at some point he let out prayer.
Alas this event for him is common.
I ready the joke and start with my plea.
I let out my shout! Why did you leave me?
