The Governor Who Wrecked The Texas State Railroad Poem by Hubert Wilson

The Governor Who Wrecked The Texas State Railroad

Revealing himself as just a man of greed!
Interest in Texas heritage he does not heed!
Cannot wait to derail!
Keen to place the historic train up for sale!
Yearning to enrich his ravenous friends!

Prolific avarice that knows no ends!
Expensive Trans Texas Corridor toll road!
Reaps Texas funds by the car load!
Respectful Texans should be distraught!
Yielding next to his foreign cronies to make the Alamo a parking lot?
