The Hell Of The Day Poem by Julia Luber

The Hell Of The Day

The day begins with fear of how hot it will be.
I know how this heat attacks. It simply gets unbearable
at various points through out the day. Those days
aren't morning. Morning has a calm…a peace…a thankfulness.
We know that the hell of the day has not yet begun! We know!

Hey, Julia! Your poem inspired me to write one of my own. Just a few minutes ago I posted HAPPY HOLLOW NURSING HOME. Please read that to see how one old lady coped with the heat!

My serious heavy-handed preponderant poetry inspired that clever light hearted humorous one of yours? I AM SO IMPRESSED I COULD INSPIRE such funny lightness! Wish me some, Kim! Loved it! Thanks for your credit to me!

Kim, I read your poem and LOVED it! I dig the clever humor. Sorry my stuff is typically so serious. That's just me sometimes.

Much of the country is in a heat wave, I know. My son and his sons live on the East Coast. Bring on some cooling rain!

We should bond together in understanding this phenomena. Thank you for reading and responding. Thinking about more than solar systems is making me feel more normal despite the bizarre heat. Thank you for reading.
