The diligent hermit works well for an elder aged,
Reading books and doing Calligraphy so engaged.
He loves the company, the wonder of nature,
Plum trees remind him of his wife, sweet angel,
The Crane, as naughty as his son's character,
He praises for a living like Tao-qian, the Wisefellow.
He fishes in Jiang-shang's style,
With no hook, he hovers, enjoys the flavor.
