For every cross, uprooted, then,
More crosses come in lesser time;
The cross is just an outward sign
That Jesus Lord had borne for man.
For every cross removed on earth,
A thousand more will spring on own;
The cross is Christian’s sacred sign
That’s drawn by them throughout life-time.
For every cross denigrated,
By anti-social elements,
Christianity will stronger grow
With faith in Christ, world crucified.
Crosses are made in many shapes;
Crosses are made of every kind;
Crosses create a Christian tinge,
Wherever planted and revered.
The cross is one insignia,
Which Christians hold in high esteem;
Devils are scared to see its sight,
As Jesus Lord was crucified.
The cross can drive all devils off;
The cross is used to exorcise;
The holy cross will always stay,
No force on earth can wipe it out.
Crosses are there when beams criss-cross;
Crosses are there in buildings’ frame-work;
Cross-roads point to a change that’s prime;
Crosses will come in life to all.
But only you carry your cross,
And follow foot-steps of Christ Lord;
The sign of the cross will always stay
Until the sun ceases to shine.
