The Horrible Demon Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

The Horrible Demon

The all-dreaded flood has attacked the village,
It has flooded the entire place with the furious rain's rages,
The ponds and the rivers are in spate,
The villagers have met the tragic fate.
The water is here,
It remains there,
It reigns everywhere,
The plants and the animals can not safely stand anywhere.
Someone is anxiously floating,
Someone is screaming,
But the horrible demon is relishing,
He is all devouring.
