The Joys Of Life Poem by Rik Bertrand

The Joys Of Life

Smiles from a stranger,
Laughing at danger,
A hug from a close and dear friend.

Watching the seasons change,
Having a casual exchange,
Knowing there is love in the end.

Puppy dogs and kitty cats,
Football games and baseball bats,
I am happy with all there is.

The Joys of life are simple things,
Like the dew that the morning brings
Or the night of your first kiss.

My joy is waking every day,
And watching the world at play
I love all there is, I love life.

REB (JULY 2012) For Lori Green, because you enjoy the joys of life everyday..
