The King Who Shares True Love

Like a filthy urchin forsaken
Amidst life's foul debris
God never would be mistaken
If Christ failed set me free

Yet boldly upon life's pages
With sin and shame confessed
Wrote The Lord God King of ages
While truth my sole caressed

Jesus, Jesus, washed in Your blood
Cleansed of all filth and shame
Hopeful to walk, live as I should
By faith in Your Holy Name

Let your mouth guide, each day my heart
Your word each single stride
Obedience cause new life to start
Through He who dwells inside

Your Gift; for moral direction
Guiding through righteous Light
In quest, of true life's perfection
For robe radiant white

By faith, life's hope You've imparted
Igniting deep within
Since life's destination's charted
Blessed, am I free of sin

Since accepting, Heaven's calling
Through righteous blood outpoured
My love's grown truly enthralling
For whom is now my Lord

When hell's endless flames are blazing
When safely up above
Forever will I be praising
The King who shares His love.....
