The Lady At The Window Poem by John Libertus

The Lady At The Window

Rating: 5.0

The Lady at the Window
waits on her Lover
who walks on the water to her door;
from antique white
to the blue of tomorrow
he loves her then, and now, and evermore

I'm only now learning
the Logos of my heart:
it's just Love that holds me together,
and only Love that tears me apart

A mysterious poem, Vermeer and the Eternal Lover threaded together. And the last stanza is poignant and true. Great job.
