The Lady Down The Street Poem by Ray Hansell

The Lady Down The Street

Rating: 5.0

She always had a generous heart
Along with a big bright smile
She never talked about herself
Because that was not her style

She'd always lend a helping hand
To anyone in need
She never looked for any praise
As she always did good deeds

She would never judge people
No matter who they were
If anyone needed anything
They just had to ask her

No one knows where she came from
One day she was just there
With a happy smiling face
Along with a heart filled with care

She passed away just last week
If she had a family it was unknown
She did not die in shame
She did not die alone

All the people she had helped
Were there to pay their respects
She received her just rewards
That's more than some people get

A wonderful tribute to a lady with a great character. The good deeds that we gave and showed to people will created a ripple of kindness and joy. The world.would be a lot better if there are more people like her. Beautifully crafted and conveyed write.
