The Lady Of Rhyme Poem by Francis Duggan

The Lady Of Rhyme

To be addicted to rhyming is her only crime
The one who is known as the lady of rhyme
Her poems of great beauty a thing of delight
The lives of people and Nature inspire her to write
To her higher self she remains ever true
Of an Earthly Utopia her dream she pursue
At poetry gatherings and readings her poems she has read
And of her works kind things by the critics are said
A wonderful wordsmith and loyal to her trade
A true poet is born and cannot be made
A mother in her early thirties the laureate of the town
She is on the way to a greater renown
This beautiful person in her writing prime
And locally known as the lady of rhyme.
