The Lamb Of Kasteelberg Poem by Goddo Faggotte

The Lamb Of Kasteelberg

Little Lamb,
Who buried you
Amidst this granite monolith castle
Misted by the cold Atlantic?

Your woolly white form
Sketched out in your fragile bones
Sacrificed and wrapped in a red pigment caste of Hide
Who chanted the blessing?

Little Lamb
What was your work?
To welcome, to heal
To bid farewell or seal
A promise?

We dug you up and
Took you out from
Where you’d rested
‘most 1000 years,
but still you would not tell
Little Lamb
Who made you so?
