The Lilies Poem by Tony Adah

The Lilies

Struggle tires tendons
But yields the desired
If persistence is the seed
It will sprout
Blosom and yield.
Lilies tire not in drought
Soon summer's succour comes
With green stems and pink diadems
On their heads.
