The Lines Too Hard To Find Poem by George Samuel

The Lines Too Hard To Find

I hear a soulful song
Too deep to search or what might be wrong
It made me nervous to stare
At a glimpse of an angel from afar
A form of music blind my mind

Made the wavering world too bleak to find
A sonnet swiftly pass and blast my ears
So did a subtle sound of fear
And heald my eager gaze on high
My straining ear a sigh

But the wondering lines
Lies in no instrument but mine
How was I to know I was blind
To learn the treasures of my mind
The nightingale that silently pass
Or the horses that grace by grass
That might not offer a phrase or word
To my longing soul profound
