The Lion's Journey Poem by Jay Garmino

The Lion's Journey

Rating: 5.0

How far is the ocean shore to sail to London?
I will go today at sunny Monday afternoon.
Challenges I may face upon the raging water waves,
To see my wife in her struggling sick days.

How tall is the mountain of England sea walls.
I will climb to the peak with pride and valor;
Thunder of heavens strike on top of hill stones,
I'll be brave to catch my breathe even at dawn.

How big is the castle of queen Elizabeth's throne?
I will pour leaves of red roses under her Queen's gown;
To bow down and ask for her majestic blessing.
To bring my wife away from her kingdom's den.

How many knights raised from Wallace decade's core?
Aye! oh Scotland here i come from far east storm
I'll pass through to your castle gateway's within.
To bring forth care and love to my lover's pain.

How deep it is the glacier mountain of the Liverpool?
I may not know but never care of any concern at all;
All I want is to be with my love at her bed side,
Give all my might to the endless journey for love.

Though I may not know of when should I stop to run
Boars and roars I may not stop to shout loud and drum;
To take all the odds and face the invasions, grabbed,
Till my last breathe I will fight, Oh I will fight for my love.
