The Lovers (For Royce & Becky) (1994r) Poem by Patrick Wescott

The Lovers (For Royce & Becky) (1994r)

Rating: 5.0

Two lovers run naked in the dark,
laughing and tripping over graves.
Returning to their primitive ways,
they made love to the night.

And in the heat of the moment,
their bodies ached with wild abandon.
Upon awakening they thought it was a dream,
but their flesh still sang of sweetness.
