The Magic Of Love. Poem by Tom Zart

The Magic Of Love.

Rating: 5.0

So here I am, like many times before
All alone with my face to the moon.
Down on knees praying to God
For someone who will love me and soon!

The smallest deed done is better than intention
When you wish to receive wisdom from above.
No matter what happens, I refuse to give up
My hope to discover the magic of love.

Samson so loved Delilah
He ended up grinding grain.
Anthony so loved Cleopatra
He lost all and was slain.

David so loved Bathsheba
He drifted from God's command.
The way I feel makes it easy
To imagine and understand.

Thank heaven for passion and love
Blessings from God to man.
Without them we're mere creatures
Subsisting like ants in the sand.
