The Master Of My Fate Poem by Jocelyn Dunbar

In a long life journey with prostrations,
Trials, suffering, pain, sicknesses, loneliness,
Sadness, sorrows; difficulties, struggles, tribulations,
Discouragement, failure, weaknesses, and emptiness.
In the same way, happiness, love, romance,
Affection, joy, gladness, smiles, laughter,
Goodness, healing, cleansing;

Family, friendship, opportunities, success,
Honor, respect, beauty, freedom,
Rest, faith, and belief.

As a believer of Christ, all longing of
The heart melted by his remarkable promises.
Christ determines the time, season, and
An event beyond his control proceeded by his deeds.
The heart is fully trusted, his appearance (Holy Spirit)
Is in the position of life, the destiny of my life is at
The hand of the master of my fate,
Jesus Christ, my savior.

'I will keep my hope alive; I will find my strength in God.'
