The Maze Poem by Severien Meyer

The Maze

The Maze
(by: Sev Meyer) 10/22/99

I doubletime,
Running toward and away.
The looming wall, mocking me,
Has volumns to say
About doubletiming.

I halftime,
Jogging toward a clearer goal.
But still the looming wall
Speaks in mocking tones
About jogging.

I peacefully walk,
Meandering at a laggards pace.
The wall looms still...
But now I see it’s gate,
And through it,
Noticing this and that,
I contentedly walk.
