Rain Kala

The Midnight Hour - Poem by Rain Kala

The midnight hour is here my child
So be aware of all your fears
The darkness preys on your defeat
And makes the chains on your heart
Strong and cold
The midnight hour will rob your soul
And make the world a painful place
Listen dear beware of the night
If your blood turns cold
And your heart a stone
Stow away under the covers
Till the midnight hour is away
Or else for you is a horrid fate
Of pain and darkness, screaming and hate
