The Midwinter

仲冬


寒威雲不卷
雪霰自翻飛
歲夢春還遠
梅詩綺罕稀
弄瓊花禦氣
吟錦柏朝暉
只惜群芳歇
顛題眾鳥歸


The Midwinter

The cold power and prestige
clouds weren't rolling
By selves
snow sleet turning and flying

Dreams in the end of the year
the spring was far still
Poems of the plums
were rare and pretty

Picked viburnum to resist cold
In the morning sunlight
chanted the brocade cypress

Spoke in my mouth
thought in my heart
all kind of birds returned
It's a pity
all kinds of flowers rested
