The Mighty Oak Poem by susette varga

The Mighty Oak

Rating: 5.0

Man of the woods
Our sanctuary
The Mighty Oak
God's blessed tree

Planted by water
Roots reaching
The stream
Ensuring it's leaves
Remain always green

This majestic tree
Has no fear
Of heat
Or drought

His leaves remain green
No matter what
A glorious tree
Who reigns
Over all

Fiercely protective
Of the poor
And the meek
Bears fruit
For their food
Gifts it's leaves
For their healing

Splendid is
The Man Of The Woods
Blessed by God
The Mighty Oak
