The Miracle Of The Big Bang Poem by Paul Hartal

The Miracle Of The Big Bang

The universe was born out of nothing,
astrophysicists say.
According to them,
nowadays some 400 billion galaxies
populate our visible universe,
which as an infant was born
out of pure nothing.

This miracle happened
exactly 13.72 billion years ago,
in the gigantic and wondrous
firecracker event of the Big Bang.

Yet what is missing
from the scientific account
of our existence
is that the story of creation
Is a love story.

It cannot be otherwise.

For we are all children of the stars.
All the atoms in our bodies
originate from stardust.
We come to this world through love
and our love is an integral part
of the cosmos.
