The Moon's Absence Poem by Wilson Khor W.H.

The Moon's Absence

Waited for hours
Beneath the night sky
For your fair countenance
To beam before my eyes

But you never showed
From among those stillborn clouds
And I wondered if you've left me
For the stars behind that shroud.
