The Most Childish Human Being Poem by Kenneth Maswabi

The Most Childish Human Being

This is not a children's play area
The most childish human being is not a child
Children are totally aware of their state of being
They are always following the flow of happiness
Chasing after the taste of joy
They are open to showing their emotions
They will cry when they are in pain
Smile and laugh out loud to show their joy
They are totally not childish
They are the patrons of wisdom
The most childish human being stares at the mirror
And doesn't see him or herself
The most childish human being is encapsulated in ego
Totally submerged in his or her own delusion
Unaware of the bigger picture
Undeterred by the foolishness of his aura
The most childish human being is reckless
Unacquainted with humility or compassion
He goes all out to state his point of view
Regardless of the profuse lies pouring out of his psyche
The most childish human being will not desist from spreading falsehoods
Does not see a need to protect humanity, family or friends
From his delusions of grandeur
They are only interested in their ballooned ego
The most childish human being is dangerous
Totally sealed from common sense
He is injected with a sense of invincibility
The most childish human being is an adult
A mother, father, sister, aunt, uncle or grandparent
Standing against reason, ethics and common sense
Even when the boat is about to capsize
The most childish human being will stand solid in his own foolishness
The world today is infested with these people
