I hear our laughter echo in the air
the short hearty giggles that we use to share
it comes without fail exactly around 6
there really wasn’t anything that we cannot fix
I see our shadows, they cuddle and play
But they fade much too quickly, I pray they could stay

It passes by slowly as it teases my feelings
It is sure to come at just about 8

I feel all our words they all cuddle ‘round me
They touch me gently and whisper so softly
They arrive nonchalantly at a minute past 9
remind me of the time when you are all mine
Then I touch our music that comes the last
It soothes all my aches, so heavenly it was
It ushers in the sadness that comes way past 10
When all I have left is our “remember when's'
