When I weaved my sight through the sweetness in your eyes,
A moment caressed me, innocent of disguise;
My heart had blinked a single breath, in gentle pray,
That you would hold my hand for a promise to stay.

Then you strode with me with your words of sullen glow,
But with your smiles of dreams where my fantasies flow;
Suddenly my nights are filled such when a lark sings,
My days were bright; with you I could fly without wings.

And you have showed my heart that it could truly feel
A work of magic, a love so pure and so real;
You strengthen my soul for every inch of your touch,
Your every whisper thrills this loving heart so much.

You engulfed me with so much warmth when I feel cold,
Like the sun with the dawn and when twilights unfold;
Your arms, everyday, I seek like a homing dove,
All through this part of my life, you're the one I love.
