The Optimist Poem by Raymond Farrell

The Optimist

Rating: 4.0

The optimist
Fell off the roof
He shouted
Through open windows
As down he went
It's fine
Better than before
It'll all work out
And then he hit the floor.

I've never been one for writing humorous verse, but that's only because I don't have the knack that you display here and in some of your other works I have read recently...... I love to read this style of poetics as to me it displays acute wit and cleverity, which are two very crucial elements in composing good poetry, prose or short stories...Solid Penning, Ray ~Fj R
