The Orchard Poem by Walter C. Edwards

The Orchard

Ms. Showers there is someone,
who wants to eat the fruit,
from your orchard,
what would you say to that,
he wants the sweet nectar,
that is hanging there,
to taste the juices,
that call to him, at night,
would that be alright, with you,
for someone who wants,
to enjoy that pleasure too.
