The Other Side Of Bliss? ** Poem by Shelley L Baxter

The Other Side Of Bliss? **

Rating: 5.0

' The days were not as bright
the nights not so dark
each splendid whole certain thing
had all been torn apart.
The hopes for something true
the dream of sky's all blue
of a world of blissful things~
that make the spirit strong
the heart soar...
had been taken away
with just the thought of losing you. '

Yes, one can be in an uncertain frame of mind while harboring the thoughts of losing the one they love. If the loss is due to death, well there is nothing we can do about that, what we can do though is carry that lost love in our hearts and they will stay with us forever, we never really lose the one we love. We close our eyes and remember the happy times, the closeness, the loving touch, the sweet tender words they spoke, we relax and enjoy the moments remembering. Realize whenever you want to see them again, just close your eyes and they will be there. I know, my sweet Richard is always with me, he's in my heart. Love your poem Shelley, I get carried away sometimes.---Melvina---
