She always dreamt of white dresses
Horse drawn carriages and happy ever afters
An ordinary princess wanting a fantasy life
She wanted to live the fairy story
It was never going to happen
She smothered or scorned every man she met
Clingy and needy
Like a limpet
She tried to grab what she could
Impatience made the hints less subtle
The damsel in distress no one cared to rescue
They all breathed sighs of relief after making good their getaway
Some just weren’t good enough
Prince Charming didn’t fix cars
He didn’t drive buses
Prince Charming was never ever after her
Reality left her not enchanted
A bunny boiler whose rabbits out of batteries
She vents her frustration
On an uncaring world
