The Pen’s In Each Our Hand

To see the future of our age
To sample current wine
The world should turn each bible page
And read Acts twenty nine

The bible still we write today
Portraying Christ on earth
Showing the world God’s righteous way
That leads to second birth

There’s none too great there’s none too small
There’s none too young or old
But each in Christ who’ve heard The Call
May speak within The Fold

Why in The Fold and not the street?
Why not the world outside
Should not the least at Jesus’ feet
Be counted as His bride?

Should all not seek God’s face above?
Should all not serve The king?
Has not the bride her Groom to love?
Before she wears His ring?

But so much work remains undone
Before a wedding day
Before the bride and Groom are one
Their vows have each to say

Commitment too has each to bring
This too the world should see
So we in Christ have much to sing
To set her children free

To help these children understand
To make the bride complete
The pen Christ gave in each our hand
Could write a brand new sheet
