The promise you made
when you said I do!


The promise we made,
was all about love.


The promise we made,
beautiful, like a dove.


The promise we made,
was no small token.


The promise we made,
never to be broken.


The promise we made,
when we said forever.


The promise you broke,
when you said never.


The promise you changed,
turning saying nope.


The promise I hold,
with every bit of hope.


The promise we made,
meant to last.


The promise we made,
fading fast.
