The Pure Love Poem by Asavri Dhillon

The Pure Love

Rating: 5.0

Walking down the sidewalk by the river,
Looking at the falls crashing down with force,
The city lights were playing with their reflection,
And the lovers kissed.
When the mist caressed my face, I asked,
"How long will I have to walk with this aching heart? "
The mist answered, "The purest things are found after tears and pain,
the diamonds are not found lying on the ground,
you needed true and pure love, wait until your heart drowns."
