The Race Of Life Poem by Jade Blaydes

The Race Of Life

Rating: 5.0

Have you ever had that feeling,
Deep inside your heart?
Just waiting for that moment,
Your life will finally start?
So close to your victory,
That you fall before the line.
Watching your trophy go away and think,
'That should have been mine! '
You work so hard,
Just to loose it all.
But thinking about it
made you fall.
Going the whole way,
Just enjoying the veiw.
Running, like it was
The only thing you knew.
The winner being someone,
Who cheated the whole way.
And in the end knowing,
All will be okay.
You did your best
and tried your hardest.
With determanation, you went the farthest.
