The Rainy Season Poem by Tony Adah

The Rainy Season

Spattering, dancing with tiny feet
Our roofs inured to constant batter
It is the rain's response
To the season's drums
It flip through the pages
Of the season,
Leave some hours and days to shine
And the rest,
It pour its drops.
