The Relief Poem by Colonel Muhamad Khalid Khan

The Relief

Scattered by ideas shattered by Faith
Vague impressions dangled me to wrath
Sentenced sincerity seems like wraith
Doubtless images astray me from path

Life is but like a reckless necklace
Relations are but jugglery of words
I don't know to whom I may confess
Broken nests with shed away birds

Hatred superseded love in its entirety
In darkness there is nothing to believe
All around darkness is up to eternity
Only death can now come to relieve
