The Riches Of The World Poem by Tony Adah

The Riches Of The World

Rating: 4.5

The riches of the world are but frail
And Ephemeral things
We grope to find and get to build
Those magnificent things
When the breeze come
They fly away like feathers
In the air.
Our mind should more sit on a boulder
Where the splendid flowers
Glowingly surround and where the
Excellent mind effuses the needs
The next needy man desires
This is an empire no war can conquer
Which should be any man's strife
To build,
A gem that never fades.
No matter what beauty we build
The magnificent craft of the hands,
In vain we build
For every civilization crumbles
At its peak and sooner than later
Another is spawned even of better
Made.
